History

In 1995, CJ Stafford decided to end her 20-year career with Johnson & Johnson. With a BS in biology and an MS in biology and toxicology, she spent years as a toxicologist ensuring the safety and efficacy of wound closures. Then, she moved over to the marketing side of the business, serving various roles in public relations, healthcare professional marketing and consumer affairs for Splenda® brand sweetener. That included building the brand’s first customer care program from the ground up.​

When it came time to do something different, CJ wanted to leverage her knowledge of science and compliance so she formed Stafford Communications.​

With two decades of service to a who’s who in CPG clients, the team had grown to over 200 experts across the United States and Canada, specializing in customer service, compliance and marketing in regulated industries. ​

In 2024, Stafford Communications Group became a division of Premier NX, a rapidly growing global provider of knowledge process outsourcing services. As Premier NX, the company offers clients right-shoring global options and access to technology-driven knowledge process outsourcing solutions.
